Waiakea Intermediate School robotics is proud to host the The Big Island VEX IQ League annually. The league is an open division league allowing Elementary and Middle Schools teams the opportunity to participate in the VEX IQ Competition. In addition, The Big Island VEX IQ League provides workshopping events to help promote student-led learning for all participants.

Waiakea Intermediate School robotics is proud to host an anual standalone tournament called "The Big Island VEX IQ Tournament" for the VEX IQ Program. We invite all teams from accross the State of Hawaii to compete in this single day event to showcase their best robot designs.
