Starting a New Project
Here's a quick look at what OnShape looks like when you first sign into your account.
We will call this page the project dashboard. Take a look at some of the key features of the project dashboard.
Create Menu
This button allows you to create new projects as well as import designs from other CAD
Project Search
Project search can be used to find existing projects. Remember to name your project files so you can easily find them later on.
Recent Projects
This is a list of recently opened projects other team members have been working on. You should not open other team members projects without their permission.
STEP 1: Let's create a new document by pressing the Create Menu and selecting "document" from the options.

This will allow you to easily track your latest projects that you are working on.

WIS Robotics Team uses folders to organize content so that the project dashboard is not cluttered. Make sure to add your project to the appropriate folder created for you so that you can find your work.

Your Task:
Navigate to the project dashboard.
Press the Create Menu and select "New Document"
Title your document "Test Project - Student Name"
